We've gotten these in years past and had no issue with them. However, this year while making my daughter's valentines, we had a few leftover and she wanted to use them. The decorative piece broke off of the wand, making the bubbles unusable. (the test of the wand bit is firmly stuck in the bubble wand with no way to retrieve it). I thought it was just something she did so tried myself and I couldn't get the wand out either.

I wish they were all hearts for Valentine’s Day. The stars are weak and a couple broke while removing them. These seem tighter than previous ones. Bubbles work well. I would not repurchase this version again.
