I now work from home and carving out a pleasant work space for myself out of a home office that DH now has to share with me has taken a bit of time but this gorgeous desk lamp pulls everything together. The design is great - the heavy glass shade sits at just the right height, and the brass lampholder and stem are very high quality with a matte finish that goes with everything. The marble base is heavy enough to keep the lamp steady and balanced but small enough that it does not take up valuable desk or table top space. The marble itself is smooth and polished. THe on-off rocker switch is in the cord making it convenient for using. I love how this looks on my glass top desk, and as I wrote, it pulls everything together and makes all the decor look more expensive. THis would also make a fabulous lamp for a dorm desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lamp. It is very sleek and really updates my whole living room. I love the exposed bulb under the clear glass shade and the warm light it radiates. The brass color is very attractive. Suddenly I feel very hip!
