Took one star off because it got a hole after only 4 or 5 months. Bought this for my teenage daughter, who uses it daily at school. After about 4 or 5 months of use it had a hole in it in a lower corner on the seam. After 5 phone calls to Target, long story short, I was able to take it back to Target with my receipt and exchange it for another one because it does have a 2-year warranty and it is a Target brand. My daughter loves it because it holds a lot, has enough pockets to keep things organized, the zippers work easily as they should, the padded laptop pocket protects her laptop, and she loves the seafoam color too. For the price, it really is a nice backpack and good value. If durability and sturdy construction are top priorities, you'll probably want to pay more for a higher quality item.
We were excited about this backpack, but unfortunately, it is falling apart after only 6 months. The water bottle holder has fallen apart and the inside compartments are also falling apart. We will not purchase this brand again!
I have had one of these backpacks myself for a while that I use as a carry-on for travel and love all the room it has to fit my laptop, work papers, plus snacks, a sweater and my travel purse. My daughter liked mine so much she wanted to get one for school this year, and it's perfect for her. She doesn't have a locker, so she has to carry all of her stuff from class to class, and this backpack not only holds it all, but it also has a lot of pockets to help keep her organized. She loves the seafoam color, too!
I love this bag. I’ve had one for 4 and a half years and it’s lasted pretty well. For 4 years it was perfect. I used this bag every day for work. I placed a large 1 gallon water bottle inside the main compartment along with a lunch bag and carried it to and from work. I abused this bag and it’s lasted 4 years. This bag is HUGE and has many small compartments! It’s perfect. I just wish it lasted forever. The zipper “handles” broke on me which doesn’t really affect the bag that much, just an inconvenience to open and close compartments. The small compartment above the main compartment broke due to the stitching coming undone. Also a hole appeared at the left side pocket which connected the left side pocket to the main compartment. I worked this bag for 4 years and I am very impressed it lasted this long. I don’t think you will be carrying a gallon of water in the bag like I did, so I think you can make this bag last longer than me. I recommend this bag.
Yes it does have a lot of pockets for storage but the material is shoddy at best only had this bag for just under a month and I've already noticed fraying at the top of the backpack. I'm going to do an exchange today, fingers crossed.
