A: No they could not. Because of the way the legs are integrated into the main part of the unit, they could not be omitted, and there are no predrilled holes in the top or the feet to attach two units together. Thank you for your question and your interest!

Very nice storage unit. I bought 3 for my garage. It was easy and fast to put together, especially after the first 1. DYI tip: make sure when you do the first step in standing the legs together to put the sides on, make sure the holes are facing out so the doors will fit. I had the legs switched and couldn’t figure out why the doors weren’t closing.

I'm so in love with this cabinet and this series of cache metal cabinets from Novogratz that I have 3 of them in my house now... and may purchase more! I have the 2 door cache metal locker storage cabinet in blue. I've had many of the "fake" wood cabinets over time where you have to put so many pieces together... with screws, utilizing many tools, etc. NOT with this piece.. it's so simple to put together and once done - so strong and sturdy. I have confidence that these pieces of furniture will last for years. They match our modern / fun / colorful decor scheme.

I bought this locker in the mint blue color. If they had black i would have gotten black as it would go better with my outdoor patio set up. I am using this locker for pool towels, suntan lotion, flip flops, other pool accessories so I don't have to look at those awful plastic deck boxes. This locker was easy to assemble, arrived without damage. Love it!

I needed a place to store all of my sewing fabric and this ended up being exactly the right size with exactly enough room for every stack of fabric I own (for now....). It's absolutely adorable, very sturdy, the orange is super fun, great details like magnets to keep the doors shut. It definitely took two of us to assemble it, but everything fit together perfectly, they even provided extra screws, etc. just in case. Very pleased with purchase.

I would highly recommend these cabinets for storage. I was looking for something colorful and modular. After search many sites I finally found these novogratz storage lockers and they are the perfect size and look for my room. The were very easy to assemble although you have to be careful: the base shelf front lip must be slid under the base bar and the back panels must be behind the back lip of the top piece. Otherwise, lifting the cabinet can be an issue.
