I started reading reviews after placing my order.. big no no, I know but to my surprise it actually came in a good condition. Minor damages but it’s still in a presentable condition enough so that there’s no need to return it. I love the way it looks in my daughters bedroom. The only thing is that it is not as big as I thought it would be. I will definitely be purchasing another one or two.

I should have read the reviews prior to ordering the item.. I am having the same issue as many others, the item arrives damaged. The corners are cracked and peeled like it was dropped or poorly put together. The item is not available in stores and after my second broken shelf I am giving up on this item.

The shelves themselves are really nice but the manufacturer needs to update their packing process. I ordered 2 of these and they both were damaged (cracks/chipped paint). They were in a cardboard box with a layer of plastic (like a plastic bag). There was no styrofoam or extra cardboard to protect the units from shipping damage. They weren't even tight in the box, there was a lot of wiggle room. Target was great about a refund. I was able to get some wood glue and a clamp and fix where the one was cracked, and touch up all the paint that was missing on both. They look good now. However, if you don't want to have to do the repairs to the shelves, I'd find something else to buy.
