This rug is so pretty, but it falls apart when washed, even on gentle cycle. The decorative rows are braided/woven together and they come undone easily. This rug would be fine in a guest bathroom that no one uses on a regular basis.

The colors in the stock photo are NOT what you get. In the stock photo, you’re seeing blues, yellow, and cream. In real life, it’s greens, yellow, grey, and cream. It’s also super uncomfortable to stand on! Makes my feel hurt. The rug just ain’t flat enough for comfort doesn’t seem absorbent at all.

The design and colors are great, love the fun pattern, love the texture and it brings beautiful color to my bathroom. I also like how it’s cotton and doesn’t use any synthetics. HOWEVER. Holy moly, the amount of shedding this mat has once you wash it is awful. First time, I assumed it was just normal and it’ll disappear after a few washes. No. Every time I wash this (~6x), all my clothes have fibers all over it and I’m annoyed at the amount of lint rolling I have to do since every time I hope that the shedding has dissipated by now.

This rug is so cute, but the braided blue stripes started unraveling about 2 weeks after purchase. If you are getting the rug for a guest bathroom that doesn’t get any use, it would probably be fine. Otherwise, I don’t recommend this rug.
