the bulbs burn out constantly. we purchased extra bulbs because we purchased 4 strands. every time we light the bulbs there are more blown. i don't think we've had a full string since the first use. very disappointing.
Absolutely love these lights!!! Honestly- don’t listen to the negative reviews too strongly. I bought 3 strands from the store- and they all worked beautifully! Had them going all night, connected to an extension cord to the outlet, and not an issue. For $9 a strand, you really can’t go wrong.
I was super-excited these were on sale because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on lights for my porch. All of the bulbs worked when I initially plugged it in so I started hanging them. I got to hanging the very end of the strand and something blew in the last bulb that caused all of the other bulbs to blow. Going to try and return :(
I've had these lights up outside for 3 years now, I think? They're held up quite well, all things considering, especially because they are exposed to our rainy Pacific Northwest climate year round. I think there were 2 bad bulbs, but I didn't end up needing them for my needs anyway. They put out a good amount of light, so we find they really useful for night soirées.
