Q: It says "preserved" in the title, but then says "faux" which are contradictory... is this made of REAL boxwood or is it fake?

A: My guess is fake. I bought this wreath recently and put it on a door outside. It's been exposed to moisture from rain and now there is green coloring on my door.

Not meant to be outside. The color dripped all over our front door when it rained, mind you the rain never touched the actual wreath. The wreath then began to grow mold as the weather has warmed up. Completely ruined a decorative sash I had tied on it when I first hung it up. I bought this in store June 2022 and waited to hang it up, would not have bought if I had checked or saw any reviews at that time.

Truly a very pretty wreath but recommend only using it indoors in a cool dry area. We had ours hung in-between a storm door and our front door and the heat (?) caused some sort of oily residue to accumulate ALL over the front door, the storm door window and frame, and the oil even evaporated upwards onto the transom windows. Quite the mess dripping all over, still trying to get it cleaned up after several wipe downs. :-/

Pretty, but this was hung on a south facing door inside a screen / glass door. It is not outside. It has a scent and is producing a weird oil or off gas that is fogging my glass that needs cleaned daily. It is starting to yellow from the sun. Not for use in the sun.

Bought this 1 week ago and noticed a horrible smell in my house, until I firgured out it was this wreath. When i first bought it, it was bright green and it faded to yelllow and leaves were burnt black from hanging on the door in the sun. It is only 40° where I live and should be able to withstand normal use. Overpriced for terrible quality, and I am typically a big fan of anything Magnolia Farms or Target. Very disappointed.

This is a very pretty wreath, however if there is moisture in the air, the wreath drips green dye everywhere. We have this on our front door, which is covered and our white door now has green dye drops on it from the moisture in the air

Looks very nice but not meant for outdoor use. I put it on my front door and the artificial color bled/ran and stained my door, the concrete on my front porch, and anything that touched it (hands, ornaments for holidays, etc). It also started to mold during the cold and wet weather. Definitely would not purchase again or recommend.

This is on me because I didn’t read the details of the description and hung it on my front door. Looks beautiful but it does run and stain everything. Ruined my door sash. Going to try the advice of others and spray it with Matte spray. But the description could Have been more clear. You shouldn’t have to dig to see “indoor use only”

Great at first…which was only a month tops. Leaves started falling off, we had some of the mentioned staining, and then the leaves turned a weird, almost moldy black, and started wilting. I’m not sure what was done to preserve this, but “preserved” is a bit generous of a descriptor. Great if you’re only looking for a seasonal wreath during the cold months; otherwise, disappointing.
