These are wonderful lanterns, they are well made, heavy and look great in person. I am also pleased that glass candles can be placed inside the lanterns, so not only do they look marvelous they are practical as well. The color is muted and has a more aged gold tone vs. a bright brass.

These lanterns are heavy and simply fabulous. I was so thrilled when I found them, as they're comparable (in my opinion) to higher end lanterns from RH, WestElm, Pottery Barn, etc. Finally an affordable option!!! It was a good weight and looked very sturdy and well built but this is NOT gold at all. I purchased the large and medium, shipped separately and neither even resembled gold. It was more like a pewter. I returned both of them as I specifically wanted gold. Again neither looked like the picture.
