Aluminum Outdoor Lantern Candle Holder Black - Smith & Hawken™

This lantern ended up being bigger than I expected. With the handle it actually stands about 27 inches tall and it is about 12 inches across. It is very nice looking and feels very sturdy. Although its an outdoor candle holder, I am considering using it indoors and putting a small houseplant where the removeable glass is.

I love my outdoor lantern!! It is super adorable. I have gotten so many compliments on this and everybody wanting this. It’s a very nice size and not bulky at all. It is wonderful indoor or outdoor as a decoration.

I really can’t say that I love this Aluminum Outdoor Lantern . I had a bunch of friends over and they were complementing me on how much they love it and they want one. I love the way it is made. I highly recommend it.

This piece is so very beautiful. It’s can either be used outdoors or indoors it looks great either way. We choose to use it indoor to add to our nautical themed living room but honestly it would go well with any decor. I also can’t wait to spruce it up with a candle and some greenery as well. So very very classy looking piece would 100 precent friends.

I love that this is a stand alone lantern versus one you need to place on a table. The base is sturdy, but the glass just sits in place, and would easily break if tipped over. It looks like it would be heavier than it is, but I prefer the weight of this as it’s perfect for stability, yet easy to move around still.

This lantern is substantial and so well done. It was shipped with a high degree of care and arrived in perfect condition. The 22" height is impressive and really makes an impact wherever you set it up. It is heavy duty with a beautiful mottled finish. I particular light that the glass is a tube so when this is put outside, rain water will not collect as there is also a small hole on the metal base. This is especiially important if you expect to use battery operated candles. I can't wait to set this up in various vignettes eaxh season. Highly recommend

One concern is that using this latern outside might not be a great idea because of the glass candle holder, but I won't hold that against this lantern. Still giving 5 stars because this thing is big and sturdy, and would make a great outdoor addition to a deck or patio. Perhaps storing it inside when not being used is a good compromise. I'd recommend to purchase in store rather than online, so you can judge if it works for your intended location.

This is a beautiful, heavy duty and large lantern. I was super impressed by the quality of it when I opened the package. I know this is an outdoor lantern but since it's winter here I decided to use it inside by my fireplace. It looks perfect there. Once the weather warms up I plan on putting it in my sunroom but will more than likely keep it indoors. I'm a little worried it may get ruined outdoors. Mostly the glass. I do think the metal lantern itself should be durable enough outdoors.

I've been looking for the perfect decor for my front porch and I love this lantern. I have always loved lighted decor and I can place my own candle in this lantern and create a pretty light. It's unique and simple. I plan to keep it on my porch and occasionally move it to other areas for some light and decor when we are enjoying time outside. I was surprised how heavy and sturdy the frame of this lantern is. I first put it outside during a very windy night and had no problems. The frame is durable and the glass piece covers a nice sized candle enough to protect the candle. The handle at the top moves easily and works well for carrying it around. A large pillar candle of any color would look great in this lantern. I used a yellowish-white candle. It looks nice lit or unlit. I really like the size of this lantern. It's 22 inches tall. So it's very visible. This lantern is unique, portable, and adds an antiqued look to any indoor or outdoor location. This is a quality piece, very well-made and looks it! I recommend it for someone looking for something different to decorate their outside.

This lantern is AWSOME, just like all the other Smith & hawken lanterns I own, I have all sizes in the original black and got all sizes in new gold color last year, super heavy duty, unique design, I love everything about it, I hope they keep making new designs in this heavy aluminum every year, the 29" in this lantern would be AWSOME too, hope they make that size also.
