Per the testing protocol, BPA test is not applicable to this product and was not tested. BPA test is generally required for food contact items or products claimed BPA free. For the Phthalates, this product was tested with a satisfactory result – not detected or was below the detection limit. The beads are fine, but the tiny little square pocket for the letter beads is truly the worst design i've ever seen. it's borderline impossible to get the letters out. it took me 10 minutes to get them all out and into a plastic baggie (because you literally can't find letters with them in that pocket).
