A: so not big enough for a cake
A: Hello Kay - Great question! The minimum internal diameter of the glass cloche should be no smaller than 7.65”. Due to manufacturing variability it might be slightly wider. Hope that helps. - Matt
A: The inside dimensons of the short glass dome are no more than 7.5" diameter and 4" high. I am returning the one I just purchased because the information provided by Target support is not correct.
A: Kay. Standard cake pans (8-9" rounds) are 2" tall, thats the most common height for a homemade cake. Add frosting between, about 1/4" each layer & go from there. 3 layers w/flat top frosting 7"ish?
A: Hi Cookie - The minimum internal diameter of the glass cloche should be no smaller than 7.65”. Due to manufacturing variability it could be as large as 8.22”. Most items will fall right in between. I would use the 7.65” since it is the smallest possible. Thank you for stopping by! - Nancy
