A: so not big enough for a cake

submitted byM - 1 year agoTarget staff supportA: The inside dimensons of the short glass dome are no more than 7.5" diameter and 4" high. I am returning the one I just purchased because the information provided by Target support is not correct.
submitted byLKS - 19 days agoA: Kay. Standard cake pans (8-9" rounds) are 2" tall, thats the most common height for a homemade cake. Add frosting between, about 1/4" each layer & go from there. 3 layers w/flat top frosting 7"ish?

A: Hi Cookie - The minimum internal diameter of the glass cloche should be no smaller than 7.65”. Due to manufacturing variability it could be as large as 8.22”. Most items will fall right in between. I would use the 7.65” since it is the smallest possible. Thank you for stopping by! - Nancy

This is too small to accommodate a normal sized round cake.. would have to be a miniature special size. It’s very pretty but impractical. Also, when it arrived there was signage on the handle of the lid that said ‘do not use as a handle’.. so I’m sorry but what is the point lol
