Love the design of this chair, with the bamboo-style accents and relaxed Miami retro lounge vibe. Assembly wasn’t as bad as some others have noted but it did require patience in waiting to fully tighten screws until everything was aligned. Comfy chair and ottoman for reading and watching the sunset. Matched well with some other bamboo-style patio furniture we have. Will have to assess as time goes by how it holds up and weathers.

Got this on clearance at my local target for $120. Assembly wasn’t completely atrocious and took around an hour or so total, but I’m also no stranger to complicated furniture assembly instructions and was able to do it by myself. Some machined holes seem to be extraneous, while others aren’t aligned properly. The cruddy little socket wrench/ratchet provided is what made the assembly more difficult than it needed to be, and it took more time than necessary to get all of the bolts tightened while constantly having to go around bits of the structure that got in the way since it doesn’t pivot. It also slipped out of my hands constantly when the bolts got too tight or when there wasn’t enough clearance between the bolt and the structure itself to get it all the way on the bolt. The chair is comfy, though, seems sturdy enough, and fits perfectly on my tiny patio. We’ll see how it holds up over time.

I’d give it 4.5 stars. No issues with assembly, the back piece does have a bit more room than expected where the screws attached it to the arms/legs. It took some wiggling and leaning/pulling on the frame to get that specific portion to fix but it all came together. Super comfortable! Love this and don’t have any issue. Great for lounging on our porch.

Terrible to assemble. After buying a separate piece to attach the back it broke before anyone used it. Worst purchase.

I really loved the aesthetic of this chair and was super excited when I took it out of the box. Some of the fake raffia wrapping was coming undone and one fo the poles was warped but I was still excited. Until I started to build it. It was completely manufactured incorrectly as the parts do not line up. It was actually impossible to build. Super jealous of anyone who got a good one as I saw one person did in the reviews. I tried to just exchanged but customer service cancelled my order and would not replace it.

First of all, I LOVE Target's customer service! They are just awsome, understanding and helpful. Now to the chair. Good: It is unique, beutiful, comfortable, reasonable priced (especially with Target's discounts). I just love how it makes a bold statement on my patio. Bad: The color of the chair (not cusions) is way off from the online pictures. It is alot lighter in shade. The brown is more "dark cream". The cusions have no zipper and they are off-white color, so it might get dirty easy and no way to wash them. They are thin and light but cofortable. Ugly: The instruction to assamble the chair is clear but it is not easy to put it togather as a lot of screw is not align properly. I suspect it is manufacture/production issue as I bought 2 chairs, both of them have the same issue at the same place. I managed to snap the screw in half at one of leg of the ottoman (so I just leave the other otteman unscrew at same location). Tips: Leave all the screws loose, very loose, when you are working on it. Tighten them once everything are in place. I love the chair so much that bought 2 and I am willing to overlook all it's flaws.
