Q: Does the mercury base have more of a silver look or gold one?

A: When the lights are off, these lamps have more of a silver tone to them. With the lights on, especially if you use a warm color temperature bulb that has a lot of yellow in it, the bases will pick up and reflect some of that color and look more silver gold in appearance. Love these. Beautiful, decent price. Only 2 negatives. There is a seam on the lampshade and the USBs are towards the back of the lamp. I wish the USB's were placed on the side so you don't have to wrap your cord around the lamp base.

Was so excited for these, but sadly the box had a P65 warning sticker on it, so I didn't even open it. Will have to return. It would be nice is this was clearly labeled on the website, or an alert was prompted on the add to cart feature.

Beautiful lamps! We have these in our bedroom on our nightstands, and they're the perfect size! We love being able to charge our phones from them too. One of them arrived broken, but I called customer service and they sent me a replacement base no charge, without me having to return what was broken.
