A: Hi - this is a hardwired design that operates off an on-off wall switch, or a dimmer wall switch. There is no on-off control on the light itself. Thank you for the question!

Great little lights!
We love the chic design and they shipped quickly. We bought two, one for either side of the bed and put them on dimmer switches. I think they are perfect.

Beautiful, functional, and great value light
We bought two as bedside reading lights. We had dimmer switches mounted in the wall next to the headboard. We love the way they look and it's great that the light focuses down where you want it. Good quality construction, too! Great value compared to other options we considered.

Completes the room
I went through about 6 different lights before finding these gorgeous sconces from Lamps plus. The gold is the perfect shade. Highly recommend
