The material is less sturdy than I expected. It's been a decade since I bought inexpensive furniture from Target. The quality is way down. I'm not sure this thing will survive long but I only need it for about 2yrs so fingers crossed. I have absolutely wasted my money. I can get better for less on other sites. This is the one piece of 3 that came not damaged, so there's that. It will serve it's purpose and end up trash. I won't even be able to resell for 20 bucks.

The bookcase arrived completely broken, I’ve requested a replacement. The second one wasn’t broken, but was damaged in many areas. Stains, fallen pieces. Ultimately you know is something temporary that won’t last more than a year. But I guess you get what you’ve paid for.

Beautiful stand , looks well with a good record collection and a setup, only thing was the back was rather on the flimsier side. It honestly seemed to only be kept together by a piece of tape. Thus, only giving four star. But it’s a nice purchase!

This item is very low quality. It’s made of mostly particle board, and arrived damaged. Regardless, we decided to keep it bc it’s too big to send back and uninstall. Since it is for my playroom, we figured it would do for now. If I had to buy again, I prob would not.

The actual furniture is attractive enough. It is particle board painted and not very high quality. The front edge of the top arrived dented enough to see the particle board under the paint with a corresponding dent in the shipping box. It also has low weight limits with #20 for each shelf and #85 for the top. So I have to rethink what I was going to store on the shelves to not get it too heavy. I would not buy it again. I wanted to include a photo but the system will not upload jpeg.

This is our third purchase from the Threshold line, so I knew the detailed assembly required prior to purchase. Although it takes me about 3 hours to assemble these types of things, the way they package the parts and gives instructions by step, makes it much easier than other brands. I did have a few chips break off when I was screwing in the parts, but nothing bad enough to show. I like the look and so far seems to be pretty sturdy. Make sure you have a battery operated screwdriver for the back panel.

This has the look, feel and heft of real furniture. I love that I can leave areas open for display or put in fun fabric drawers. It's a great height for under the television. (With a smart tv and sound bar hanging on the wall an entertainment center was too much and a bookcase was too little.) This took a while to put together but wasn't unmanageable and all the supplies were well marked and included.

One piece came damaged... tried to get a replacement for the one piece. Was told the entire thing had to be returned; once they received it a new one would be sent. Pretty difficult since the only way I could open the box was take it out in pieces and now it’s unusable. Very disappointed!

Great storage solution! These just arrived last night and after assembling the first one, we switched to a cordless drill for the 2nd. Instructions were clear, parts well labeled and all holes lined up perfectly. Truly a breeze to complete. We were pleased with the color even after reading reviews that the rustic color wasn’t attractive. For the price, these were a great value!
