About this item
The many-years abandoned Bayshore property has been subdivided into three lots. Carolyn Reynolds, the not-so-proud new owner of the lot with the huge, run-down mansion, can’t believe her aunts have bought her such a money pit as a gift. Worst of all, it’s purple! The aunts’ intent is to stop Carolyn from obsessing over the death of her mother, who died in a tragic hit-and-run four years earlier. Carolyn is the only one convinced it was murder and not a tragic, random accident. Her quest for the truth brings her closer to the two other lot owners of 39 Bayshore: ex-con Shealds Jackson and Pastor Peter Allred. Both men hide secrets of their own as they look for redemption. The Bayshore mansion may become a fine home for Carolyn, but unexplained accidents and problems make everyone wonder, can they really trust the people who have been thrown together there?
