3ct Wood 3D Animal Painting Craft Activity Kit - Mondo Llama™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My four-year-old has been loving all the arts and crafts lately, especially anything that involves paint. She doesn’t, however, fully understand the concept of “completing” a project. So I’m very glad that Mondo Llama makes these kits that are both affordable and versatile. They can be painted and repainted over and over. The colors are bright and easy to clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was delighted to try this paint kit and selected the toucan to paint first. He tried to put it together before painting it but I encouraged him to paint it before assembling. The kit contains six paint colors, two paint brushes, three animals with stands, and two googly eyes (peel and stick). My son is five and completed his craft with guidance but not hands on assistance. The animals have detail only on the front but he probably has enough paint to go back and put a solid color on the back if he wants to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These 3D wood animals are perfect for a rainy day. My son who is 5 loved painting them. It was amazing to watch the detail he put into it. They have stands which make it so much cooler. We put them up in his room for decorations after they dried. They are pretty large so easy to see from a distance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very fun painting craft, perfect for toddlers and up. My 3 1/2 year-old loved painting the animals, both their fronts and backs. It is definitely a supervised activity. The paints are too difficult for a young child to open, especially if you don’t want paint flying everywhere. Children will also need help getting paint off the brush completely when switching colors. The paint comes off easily from hands, which is a definite positive.

My girls ages 1-5 loved painting these little guys and I loved that this was a three pack so I could split between my three kids and really make this a nice value project. The animals have marks on them to guide your little painters so it’s not a full free for all and there’s little eye stickers included. We never made it to the point of making these 3D as honestly my kids are too little to be engaged in a project that long, but regardless this was a hit for my kids and I recommend even if your children are below the age range listed on the box (but do watch out for those little pieces with your tiny kids).
