A: Hello Kathleen - Thank you for reaching out to us to see if there is a timer on the lights. First off, this would be perfect for these upcoming summer months and also in the fall as well. Now for the important part, the following item includes an on/off/timer switch. The timer feature keeps the item on for 6 hours and off for 18 and then repeats. I Wasn't Sure About These Since They Are Battery Operated, But I Put Them Out Front In Front Of My House To Light Up The Pathway And I Got Compliments On Them For My Neighbor. At Night When They Are On They Are Very Cute And Look Like Little Tiny Miniature LED Trees. However, The Batteries Don't Last Long Unfortunately. That's Just The Nature Of Using Batteries. You Can Either Set It For Continuous Use Where You Would Just Manually Shut Off, Or You Can Set It For 6 Hour Time Frame And Will Shut Off Automatically.

They are pretty and looked great in my garden. As she said they are connected together and they need c batteries placed in a box looks to be for outdoor use UNTIL IT RAINED! I only was able to use these once. Batteries are expensive and if they were solar they would be worth the price, don’t bother unless you take them in during the rain, or use indoor only. I plan to give to my daughter who has a covered patio.

I took a chance on these since they didn’t have reviews yet. The 3 trees are connected via a cord and at the end there’s a battery box suitable for outside. We had gotten snow and I put them out and they did just fine. I’m working on making a backyard corner garden and since it’s so cold I can’t plant yet so these give it something pretty to look at. Not a bad price on them since it’s a set of 3 and they’re easy to set up. The only thing I would like to see added is a remote so you can turn them on and off when you want to save the batteries (it takes 3 C’s and they aren’t included) vs setting it to its preset 6 hour window or steady function. I’m glad I bought them. They’ll add some pretty glow come spring and I can add some foliage.
