Q: I purchased this and put it in the bed and love the way it looks, but the fabric on top is loose and not secured in anyplace to the stuffing. it is only secured around the edge. is it supposed to be?

A: Hello Carolyn - Thank you for inquiring about this lovely comforter! That is correct. There is a hidden layer underneath the top that secures the top, fill and backing (if you look on the bottom of comforter, you will see the quilting). It is a way we can elevate the aesthetic and looks more like a duvet. Hope this helps! - Eva

I absolutely love the style and look for my son’s bedroom, but as soon as I washed the comforter, there was a lot of punching in the stuffing of the comforter, and even some of the stuffing some how melted like it had plastic? Never have had that happen before even with my other comforters. Now there are sharp pieces poking out from the comforter that will poke a scratch you.

I have been using this set for over a year and I have not had problems with the stuffing itself but the fabric pills in a really scratchy way and drives me nuts when trying to de-pill constantly which also pulls the stitching

This bed spread is super cute and matches a lot of different accent colors. It would be great for winter time as it’s very very warm. It’s pretty warm in the summer and hard for air to pass through. The threading on the top has quickly become picked but that’s due to our dogs. It’s still a good bedspread!

This item is NOT machine washable, however, that is NOT stated anywhere on a label. Never got the chance to use this item because we washed it and the blanket stuffing was immediately destroyed.

I liked the look of this set, but after the very first wash I had the same issue as everyone else - it got destroyed on the lightest settings of both the washing machine and dryer… pointy plastic was jutting out after it dried and we will be returning.

Very disappointed in this product. I have always been a fan of this brand however I will 2nd guess before future purchases. The threading began to unravel immediately and it looks as if it has snags everywhere. Very poor quality.

I am so disappointed in the quality of this comforter. I just purchased it today, washed and dried it, and it completely ruined the comforter. The cotton inside clumped and separated from the outer material. On the back portion of the comforter, some of the sewn areas are now gathered together. I’ve never had a comforter become destroyed like this after washing. Waste of 109.00 dollars. Not a happy customer.

I was gifted this item for Christmas and it is the worst comforter I've ever owned. It has snagged in a million places and the outside layer has seperated from the inner layer, causing it to bunch up in various places. Would not recommend.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this at the store. Within a couple days of use it was pilling so bad with tiny balls of filling all over the comforter. Disappointed Target would not take this defective product back. Do not waste your money!

We love the look and feel of this comforter and bought a second one when it was on sale. We typically dry clean our comforters so we don’t have the issues that other people have talked about with washing. It costs $50 to dry clean a comforter and this one was $50 on sale so for the same price we can buy a new one. We have two dogs that love to jump up on the bed so we tend to go through comforters more quickly, but this one has held up well. Most comforters we have purchased before are several hundred dollars, so for the price I would expect to have to replace this one more often. At this price point it has exceeded my expectations and if it goes on sale again I will be buying several more.
