3pc Sussex Serve Set - Threshold™

The serving spoon is fairly heavy, and the weight is balanced, which I find pleasing. The appearance is smooth and simple. The Sussex serving spoon is smaller than a typical serving spoon, but the handle is long enough that it doesn't slide down into a 2-quart Pyrex bowl. The "neck" between the bowl of the spoon and the handle is narrower than I would like, since I also want to use the underside of the spoon for mashing things when preparing food. However, the neck is deep (between top and underside), so it may be sturdy enough for this type of use long-term. I often use the spoon for tasting and eating food, so I would like the front edges of the spoon to be more rounded, for the sake of my teeth. The serving fork is rather short, although wide enough. The fork too has a narrow neck. I use the undersides of the tines for mashing some foods. So far, I haven't needed the slotted spoon. Since I mainly want Sussex serving spoons, I hope that Threshold will offer a set with only Sussex serving spoons (the 8.66 inch length), or sell them individually.

This set is excellent. The size and quality are better than I expected.

I love these serving set - the brushed gold is gorgeous and matches my other servewear well. Looks way more expensive than it is. Hoping it holds up over time. Only cut against them is that they were VERY tough to get out of the packaging. Each item is zip-tied into a cardboard package. The Zip ties in mine were tied VERY tight, and it was hard to get it undone without cutting through the cardboard and knicking the metal. I knicked the metal a bit on the fork unfortunately.

These were ordered for part of my daughter's wedding gift. She will be thrilled to have them.

I bought this serving set to match my Pottery Barn silverware and serving spoons, and it did not disappoint. Visually, these look great with my more pricey set! If you’re looking for a high end look for less, these are great.

Ordered the silver / stainless steel, the pieces are smaller than I thought, and slightly scratched on the bottom. But overall they’ll do the job.

Great set, high quality. Im not sure why it came packaged how it did. It was almost imposible to get out. People could get hurt trying to cut the utensils out. Think Target think!

The utensils are great but the packaging is terrible. I could not break them out of the packaging without scratching the utensils

It is a good color gold. I only use my gold flatware during the holidays so they still look good (after 2 years). I REFUSE to wash them in the dishwasher to preserve gold color or with more acidic dish soap (lemon, orange scent). The downside is that if you want to keep them in good condition they require extra care.

Packaging is almost impossible to remove

Unfortunately I had to return them. I ordered four sets and two came in with rusted marks already.
