I've bought furniture a few times from Target and every time, I swear I won't do it again. But I was desperate for a dresser. Bought this at the store and built it up, and the drawers do not match up. They all overlapped, no matter what I did. I adjusted everything every single way possible, hoping I wouldn't have to take it apart, put it back in the box, tape the box up, and have my boyfriend come over with his SUV again to take it back to the store. But that's what I had to do. Incredibly frustrating. I have no idea how it can be that none of the drawers line up properly, but there you have it.
As mentioned, the plastic legs have me worried but my biggest concern is not about the legs. it's the fact that I wasted an hour and a half of my time putting the thing together to find that the drawers are about 1/3 of an inch too high, leaving a rather noticeable gap at the bottom, as well as a top drawer that won't close. I'm very disappointed Target.
Great piece! Bought two as nightstands. Easy to follow instructions. Heavy, sturdy piece. I saw reviews stating the wood split etc. if you take your time and follow the directions there are no problems at all. Drawers easily adjust so that they slide smoothly and easily.
Took me a while to assemble it with a lot of annoyed hammer action. But the most disappointing part were they legs, THEY ARE PLASTIC, NOT WOOD. And a piece of the leg was broken. I should have read the description before buying. Let's see how long it lasts. In my opinion, should be around 80$ max.
This dresser looks very nice! Modern and in style, my 20 year old daughter bought it for her first apartment. It isn't super fancy however, you get what you pay for of course. I am not sure what else people expect. You need to put the entire thing together. It took my very handy husband about 2 hours with power tools and one small dinner break. The box is super heavy! But she loves it and is happy with her purchase for her small budget.
