Q: Is there a peg you have to push in before you can extend the legs? I see the metal pegs, but I can't push them in and pull on the legs at the same time. Does it take two people to extend the legs?
A: one person can do by pushing on the pin on one leg and extending then the other.
submitted byPDG Customer Service - 7 years agoBrand expertA: I do not agree. I did manage to do it as 1 person but it was near impossible. It also seems that you have to lower the legs every time to fold. I will be returning this table tomorrow.
submitted byBarb - 4 years agoA: Wear gloves so you don't hurt yourself. With table upside down, hold down frame with one foot, press very hard on two pegs. You will eventually make it work. The mechanism does not work smoothly. A cheap, poorly designed and poorly manufactured table that I do not recommend at any price.
submitted byJoe30330 - 4 years agoA: I agree with the fact that it is impossible to extend legs with one person. Even pressing 1 button while3 pulling is difficult. I rarely use this table in fact this is only the second time and my son and I were unable to extend the legs.
submitted byhbjill - 4 years agoA: Aren't you just precious. The pins on mine will not go in unless they are pushed in simultaneously. I figured it out, but with the help of another person.
submitted byI must be an idiot - 10 months agoA: Ok folks. I am a "73" year old weakling and had it figured out before I even went to the store to buy. The leg extensions are a '1" person job. 1/ fold the legs out. 2/ push in "1" pin and pull gently until it clears the hole and goes partially into the leg. 3/ push the pin in on the other leg and pull. Bingo it comes right out into the next set of holes. If you want the legs to go into the furthest position just repeat all the steps. I had it "ALL" put together with the legs in the highest position in "2" MINUTES... Happy unfolding.........................
