We really liked it at first right out of the bag but when I went to wash it before we used it, I noticed 2 holes in the outside cover. It seemed really soft and i’m considering getting it again since we returned the one with holes in it.

Hands down the absolute best blanket I’ve ever bought!! My kids love them! They are perfect in every way! It is soft on the outside and has a water proof layer on the inside. The outside is also removable and washable, it also zips to the inside so it doesn’t move around! Absolutely amazing!

I originally got the solid color pillowfort weighted blanket for my toddler even with the subpar reviews. A week later I saw this one come out, and it seemed that pillowfort had taken those reviews to heart and created a better product. I returned my original and purchased this one. This one is great! The waterproof cover was a must with a toddler who still isn't 100% dry at night. The cover has the same fabric and design on both sides with a zipper closure. It's a corduroy sort of texture, and thick fabric. I was surprised when I opened it to wash, that the interior blanket is zipped in on both sides, as well as a tie in the middle of both the top and base of the blanket. That prevents the blanket from shifting around inside the cover. One side zipper was opened up in the middle so it made it hard to get it unzipped, but I hope that was a one time thing. After washing, the cover zipped right back on. The blanket itself is a mix of glass and polyester beads. There are individual pockets the beads are sewn into, so the weight stays evenly distributed. Highly recommend this one for small children.

I decided to try this weighted blanket for myself before passing it on to my child, and it is outstanding! The outer material is soft, the colors are vibrant, and the weight should be just right for a child. It adds that needed extra secure feeling whether you use it as a lap blanket or a nighttime cover. The inner blanket material does crinkle, which may be off-putting for some people, but for me it's just an added benefit. This was such a worthwhile choice! I received this blanket from Target in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

This blanket is very well made. It is so soft. The weighted material inside is evening distributed. It is very comforting! I would highly recommend giving this brand/blanket a try.

Very soft, but very heavy. It’s obviously weighted but for a child it seems overly heavy.
