While I like this design and the way it looks very much, I was somewhat disappointed that the base is plastic. I was hoping for it to be ceramic, but because it’s plastic I decided to use it for travel/snacks instead of leftovers. The top is wood, and there is somewhat of a seal when you place the lid on, though, I’m not quite sure if it’s leak proof yet.
