Break Stripe Handmade Area Rug Taupe/Cream - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

I wanted to love this rug in my home. However, it arrived with grease stains twice. I will not be attempting to get another one—how ridiculous!

The packaging on this item is wholly inadequet. It's laughable that one side of the packaging is just left open then in addition, the basic packaging is so thin that is rips easily. Packaging arrived ripped in multiple places and rug was dirty at the open end.

Literally no joke on the poor packaging. I refused the package at the door. The plastic was torn open in multiple spots and the rug was filthy. So disappointing.

Love the quality and length

Ordered this 3 times just as another reviewer stated and each time it was delivered damage. We returned each rug.

Beautiful rug but arrived damaged and had to return a 9x12 rug to the store. Very disappointing.

I tried ordering this rug twice and it was delivered dirty both times. The packaging it comes in is not strong enough and the dirt from the delivery trucks is all over the rug. The return process was easy but I would not order this, it will come dirty.

The rug itself is beautiful, soft and exactly what I wanted, minus the dirt! The 3 stars is because the delivery of the rug was horrendous! I ordered this rug twice…the first time it arrived filthy and halfway hanging out of the package, spent forever trying to get it returned-customer service originally wanted me to take the 9x12 rug back to a store…that’s pretty difficult to do being how long it is and heavy! There’s a reason it’s delivered by freight! I finally got them to have someone pick it up and then waited for over 3 weeks for it to be checked into Target’s warehouse to receive my refund. After numerous messages I called and demanded they refund my money. It was not my fault they delivered a dirty rug and the carrier they chose had not returned the rug. I cautiously reordered after my sister received her rug without a mark, but unfortunately I had the same experience a second time. This time when I called I asked that they pay to have the rug cleaned, to which I was given 20% off.

Arrived dirty with black marks. Ordered a replacement hoping I’d get lucky the second time around, however, second rug sent is dirtier than the first. Very unfortunate because it is a pretty rug and appears to be made well. Target customer service has been great to work with with regards to getting the replacement and sending items back

I had no issues with the delivery. I was worried after reading reviews it would come dirty, but it was fine. It’s very easy to spot clean, which is what I was looking for since we have a small baby and cats. I do have to vacuum it every other day though because it’s super easy to see dirt and lint.

I ordered this rug and it came damaged/dirty due to lack of packaging/poor shipping service. Luckily, Target customer service offered a replacement and partial refund for the item. Sadly, the replacement rug is even more damaged than the first.

I was so excited to receive this rug but, unfortunately, the rug delivered to me is dirty. It is really heavy and seems to be good quality so I’m bummed it came damaged.

Colors are exactly as pictured. Wouldn’t recommend if high traffic (shoe-wearing) area. Flat weave similar to the old-fashioned braided rugs. Minor irregularities, but expected given weave type. No rug pad needed. Used rug tape to secure edges.
