You will never understand how excited I was to get this. I have always wanted one of these. The best part is, there was a hurricane that actually came towards us (luckily it missed but we still got rain and wind). I was amazing that we could actually track the weather with this! Even during the storm, we had no problem. It was even easy to set up! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The weather station is in my house right now is connected to the wall clock. It gives basic information about in and outside temperature. It's already 5 years old and I have been waiting for the upgrade and I'm so happy that I got this AcuRite weather station cause it's a game changing. The station not only inform the humidity level, wind speed, temperature, but also do weather forecast 12 to 24 hours. And yes, all the information is very accurate if compare with data on my phone. To set it up, it took approximately an hour. Not too bad but the instruction is clear and easy to follow. The station uses electricity and runs battery back up and keeps me stay informed about weather forecast so I can fully prepare for the day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The AcuRite 5 in 1 weather station is a really great product. There are many different ways to install the weather sensor outdoors but, I chose to put a 4 x 4 post in my yard and install it on top of that. You can also install it off of your porch or deck if it has access to the elements. No more wondering what the weather is going to be like for the day because it's right at your fingertips. The weather sensor can tell you the outside temperature, the inside temperature, how much rain you are getting, the wind speed, the wind direction and even the humidity. This comes with a weather display unit for the indoors. I chose to use the little stand that comes with it so it can just sit on a shelf in my living room. You can also install it on your wall. The display unit is nice and bright and easy to read. Setup was simple. You connect it to the weather underground. You get step-by-step instructions on how to connect which made it very easy. I love this weather station. It is very accurate and a high-quality product. I would recommend this weather station to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Been wanting one of these for a long time! I finally got one. This is great...I can sync it to Weather Underground and view my data wherever I have an internet connection. The full color display is great too. I mounted it to my roof and is working as expected! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this a few weeks ago, I love the fact it will give you notice when the heat index reaches a certain point, ut it will also give you current temperature, it will tell you when the battery is low, it has a built in clock, it will tell you the Humidity level, indoors and out. Toy can also see the wind speed and which direction it is coming from. It will record your current rainfall amounts and you can go back and see previous amounts. You can set it for 12 or 24 hour weather forecast. It will run on electric or 3 AAA batteries for backup. The screen is well lighted and easy to read. It has an alarm mode if you wish to use it, and also can send and receive data via WIFI. Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I find this weather station great! The readout display is nice and easy to read. The actual station that you put outside is a bit bulky but light. Connecting to the Weather Underground is a bit tricky, but if you follow the directions, it isn't too bad. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Ever sit around and watch a storm come rolling in with wind and rain and after you wonder how fast the wind was or how much rain has fallen? Well worry no more with this weather station you can be your own local weatherman. The unit is very easy to set up and best of all it has wifi! Place you unit 6ft off the ground we mounted out to the side of barn. I have seen others use PVC pipe and mount it to that. With the easy set up you will be receiving information on temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, and rainfall all from your living room. Built to last and as close as accurate you or your local weatherman can get. Buy yourself one you will not regret it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Accurate and easy to read

I've had the same Acurite weather station for ten years now. However, the sensor bearings have long worn out so I was excited to upgrade. Right out of the box I was really impressed with the revamped display. It’s really easy to read the weather information quickly and clearly. I do also like that it’s easy to turn off the brightness of the display, not just down, but completely off. This is important to me because this particular unit is in the bedroom. The display actually synced to my current outside unit. Luckily, because I’m putting these in different areas of my property, I was able to switch the unit off the default of ‘A’ to pick up the new sensor. The sensor abc switch was hard to find but it is nestled in the battery compartment as well. There’s three settings of A, B, and C so you can have up to three units acting independently of each other. Putting up the sensor unit was easy, the hardware for the sensor is actually in the battery compartment which I thought was a pretty neat way of storing it. I took both units outside to make sure they could connect and then brought the display unit back inside. Overall, it took longer for me to figure where to put the sensor than to put it together and getting it running. The manual suggests it being ten feet in the air to get the best measurements. Weather forecasts around us aren’t typically the most reliable so it’s been extra special to be able to contribute real data to Weather Underground as well.
