The idea is fun and I like that it can be a quick game BUT the questions were too easy for adults. This way be a decent game for teens/preteens just too easy for adults.

Fun family game! Played at Thanksgiving and it kept us laughing and was fast paced. There are a variety of different questions for different ages and you could even make up questions for younger kids. I didnt use the timer with my parents as they have dementia so they could play and feel included in the game. You can play on teams or individually.

My family loves games, so we are always looking for something fun and interesting to play. 5 Second Rule is easier and faster to play than similar category listing games. Each player gets a turn to ask the question and everyone has a chance to answer until someone can list 3 correct answers. The questions are suitable to the recommended ages 10 and over. My younger daughter struggled with answers, but loved when it was her turn to ask, and flip over the fun 5 second timer.

I like this game and it is very replayable for a long time but the big star of this is the timer. And my 9-year-old loved this thing as a separate way and could not stop you giggling and playing with it. Flipping the timer over was his highlight of the game.

This game is so much fun to play. It is a great game to play when short on time, but still want to have fun. You have to think quickly as you only have 5 seconds to give three answers. It is a fun fast paced game that can even be played while travelling.

We had never played 5 second rule before, but this game was very easy to learn and was really fun to play with our teens. The rules are very simple: draw a card with a category and name three things that belong within 5 seconds in order to score a point. If you didn't name three (one or two things doesn't count), your opponent gets to name them (but can't use any of the answers already given). Some categories are very easy, but some make you pause and think. The game comes with a "timer" that (in our opinion) could use some improvement. The timer makes a sound _before_ 5 seconds are up (per rules, the sound is for fun only and doesn't time anything), but it can be confusing (especially for younger players). The time is "up" when all the little beads are down, but sometimes one or two beads get stuck or go slower than the rest, allowing some players more time to come up with their answers. It is not a problem if you are playing it for fun with the family, but you probably want a more accurate timer if this is played competitively. Overall, though, it's a great fast paced game, that keeps your brain sharp. Easy to start playing right out of the box. Probably best for middle school kids and up.

This is such a fun and entertaining game! It super simple and easy to play. The rules are clear and easy to follow. You can play with as little or as many people as you want. There is a variety of cards that range from very easy to difficult. You get 5 seconds to name 3 things from the whichever card gets picks. It's a fast paced game that keeps you on your toes and helps keep your brain sharp. I've played it with my friends and kids and everyone enjoyed it.

I received this game in exchange for my honest feedback. My family and I had an absolute blast playing 5 second rule. It was super easy to figure out and easy to play. We had such a great time playing it. You only have five seconds to name three things in a category. It truly makes you think on your feet. Fun for most ages, this game is a must have for hours of family fun.

Love this game for the kids! We played a couple rounds of this. The questions are mostly fun and easy for my 8 year old! The 4 year old (who always has to tag along) loves the timer for it! We will be playing this again in the near future! My 8 year old loves to learn new things and test his knowledge.

5 Second Rule is fast paced fun. An easy to learn game that gets funnier as you go along. I played this game with a small group as well as a large group both groups enjoyed the game. 5 seconds goes pretty fast when you are trying to get words out of your mouth. You may end up tongue tied but you will have a good laugh. Both groups decided it would be even more fun if we at least doubled the response time. It takes some fast thinking and fast talking to get 3 answers out in 5 seconds. Everyone agreed the categories for responses were a good mix for any group. My star rating was based on guest response at my party with one star taken off because it was unanimous that 5 seconds was just too little time to respond. Overall I would say it is a good party game and would recommend.

This is a great game to have on hand for parties or game nights. It says for ages 10 and up but it is easily adaptable to younger ages by pre-selecting cards that would be easier for younger kids and giving them their own pile to draw from. The kids LOVED the timer. My 4 year old even got in on the fun by being the official timer flipper. A great game for when you don't have a lot of time before bed but still want to connect with a family game.

5-Second Rule is an engaging party game of trying to blurt out a list of five things... FAST! You only have five seconds to come up with three things to match the card. Can you name 3 Amusement Park Rides? 3 Professional Golfers? How about 3 Ways to Stay Cool in Summer? Almost all of the categories are broad enough that most players - from age 10 on up - were able to happily participate in shouting out answers! The new version has all new categories to stretch your brain and entertain your family.

We loved how fast paced the game is. You can play quick games or longer ones by playiing more rounds. Plenty of topics, the cards are two sided. Fun with a large group. Excited to take this on a family reunion vacation this summer. Everyone was suprised how quick 5 seconds really is!!! SO FUN!
