This piece is very heavy which is a nice feature. However, it is ceramic and cracks easily as I received mine with a crack in it. It is also a matte cream paint that get discolored easily and does not wipe off. My also had red scuff marks from in store when I did a order pick up. I returned and repurchased a new one in store because I still loved it. Be aware before purchase that this piece is better for display only.
