This card game includes complete, accessible, and easy to set up rules for swiftly playing games that keep all players engaged, regardless of player count.
My husband and I LOVE this game. It seems to have a lot of rules, but they are so easy to learn! We also love how quick this game can go when you know what you're doing and how to play. Its a quick one to start and it's so clever.
We love this game, it seemed complex at first and then once we got into it it was very clear and the cards made sense. Scoring still has a lot of things to consider, but that makes it fun because you have no idea who won. We liked that you don't hold cards the whole time because it made it easy for our young kids (5&6) to play with us.
This is a great strategy game. Once you know the rules it is fun! Card quality is good. I just wish if they had some way to distinguish between -1 and +1 coins. The coin quality could have been better given the price for the game but all n all I am happy it is worth the fun and so 5 stars for that! Best part is most players think they are winning the game but the winner is revealed only at the end. Every time it is different strategy and all depends on the power of your city and the cards you get plus the neighbors you have. It's all fun.
We played this game several times over Christmas, with 4 players, as well as just two players. Everyone enjoyed the game. I especially enjoyed it as a 2 player game, as it allows both players to take turns and play as the if there was a third opponent. I felt that was clever, and a lot of fun. I felt it was a plus that the game doesn't drag on forever, and you can easily play in an hour.
This is a very fun game. It's quick (less than an hour) and you can play with 2-7 players which is great for our big family. The initial learning curve is a bit intimidating, but it's totally worth it. The game is different every time and the possibility to win is very fair across different ages/skills of game players.
