A: It would not be safe because there is a high fall over risk since the shelf is not very wide. Plus I don't think that the bottom shelf would be able to hold the weight of the top shelf.

A: Since the biggest shelf space is 21.75" by 12.5" by 11.5" deep, then the biggest TV the bookcase could hold is one having a 19" diagonal. It is sturdy enough to allow it to hold a weight of 8 to 10 pounds in the space.

It looks just like the photos! It was fairly simple to put together, but there are a lot of pieces. It took me about 35 minutes in total. It says to do it with two people, but I was able to do it by myself.

This bookcase arrived in good condition and was relatively easy to assemble (be sure to follow instructions carefully). All holes were drilled precisely, and the unit looks very good. The stick on tabs to cover the holes are a bit cheezy, but the overall look is great.

It took over 3 hours for me to put together by myself (I had to get help bringing it inside and again when tilting it up so that it’s taller than it is wide) but the final result is a gorgeous shelf that looks amazing in the room. Not too ostentatious but the funky geometric design is refined and will hold a variety of different items once finished decorating.

I am so glad I ordered this bookcase. I spent hours looking on-line for a white console to go in our living room that was at least 60 inches wide. The fact that this book case is versatile and I could turn it on its side which made it even greater to fit the width that I needed and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this book case. It is sturdy and looks expensive, but the price was just right. Even though it took a minute for my husband to put it together, it was worth the wait. More importantly it looks great in our living room.

I saw a few other reviews said this was difficult to assemble, I did not have trouble with it. And actually it was one of the easiest shelves I've put together. Only had a minor issue but was able to fix it and it came together fine. Love the different look of this shelf and appears to be very good quality!

Overall pretty easy to assemble, especially in comparison to other assemble yourself things I've purchased. Took an hour total. Agree with other comments that fingerprints easily show up, but not a huge deal. Mine had some scratches on the pieces but I think that's expected any time you buy something like this. This is the second one of these bookcases I have purchased. Assembly is fairly easy and to the point. Furniture is solid and versatile. Price on line at Target was a little high. I purchased the first one at a local furniture store for only $98.
