I had these shades installed today and am very pleased. This item replaced an outdated, dust-collecting honeycomb shade on my glass front doors- very fresh and modern looking, matches my decor perfectly. The shades allow light to filter in but afford privacy as well. Highly recommend.

I bought 5 of these for various size windows in my home. These are true to size. Just a tip: recommended shade ordering for outside mounting, measure your window then had an inch and half to each side so it fully covers the window. The color does pull more yellow than it does in the online picture. I added a picture next to my grey/oak floor for comparison. It still worked with my decor. As far as the trouble people are having with the spring that rolls the shade back up: Per the instructions you have to get the spring wound properly to get it to work. After following the instructions the shade rolled up perfectly. I was able to either have it fully closed, fully open or half way down depending on my preference.

These just do not work - cord free means you have to take them down and roll them back up manually. They also do not stay in place when you try to pull them down.

So mad. I ordered one, too small returned it in store then ordered a new one online. Not sure why I didn’t read the reviews! You can’t actually use the shade, the pull down and retract up doesn’t work at all it just pulls off the roller. I’ll have to return yet again, what a hassle.

The shades would look nice in my kitchen but I cannot make them go more than half way up and stay up. Sometimes not even halfway. Fully closed they look great but I like to have light in during the day. Will be returning them tomorrow.

Looks great for the price but not easy to pull the shade back up at all. You keep tugging and hope it will work. Installation instructions are very vague and not helpful so we figured it out ourselves. It was still worth it bc it was on sale.
