Q: How tall is the bottom shelf from the floor? I need to know if this will fit over a vent that's slightly taller than my baseboard. Thanks!

Q: What are the dimensions of the drawers? What is the type of drawer slides? I realize that the drawers will not be deep and I want to know that they will come out straight, smoothly and with a stopper.

A: Hi Elizabeth—The interior dimensions of the drawer are: 8.5” depth, 12” width (side to side). However, the drawers only pull out 4.75”. The stops are plastic 1/2 circles. Top to bottom drawer is 2.5”. I use it in a quite small bedroom where guests can put their folded clothing on the shelves. Serves my purpose perfectly!

This console is long 72” but narrow about 12” it is very well constructed with the designer using an abundance of hardware for extra support. It was easy to assemble with the Ikea like instructions. Look at the pictures carefully. I really like the finish an off white, slight cream, antique with purposeful imperfections. I had no crackle in the finish for which I am pleased. My only gripe are the screws they used on the drawer hardware which are flat head silver. I replaced these with rounded headed brass. I am very pleased.

The box came damaged, similar to as I had read in other reviews. However the product was in good shape and not too difficult to assemble. The quality is decent and worth the price, but not anything extremely impressive.

Nice farmhouse style without being too rustic. Larger than I thought but perfect for my large screen TV plus space for decorative items. Like the other reviewer said, a little more antiquing would be nice but I can always sand it in a few key places. The color is a true cream and the drawer pulls are very pretty.
