Q: I am wondering if the height of this lamp is correct as 75" seems much taller than the picture shows. Is the lamp shade actually 20" as well? It is such a great looking lamp but sounds huge. Please verify, thank you.

A: Received mine and height is only about 60" and the shade diameter is only about 10". Was hoping it would be taller as specified.

The lamp did start to flicker terribly (we called it the “haunted lamp”) after about 9 months. We changed the bulb and that solved the problem. I do like the on/off switch on the floor: cord is a bit unsightly forger and doesn’t lay flat so you will have a rolled up white cord on the floor. For the price it works in our family room, and we do not have a farmhouse vibe which I usually associate with the Hearth & Hand stuff.

I was so excited to get this lamp after waiting for a restock for months. I ordered it as soon as I got the notification that it was available. But I wasted an hour of my life trying to just connect the pieces. I was sure I was just doing it wrong so I started over several times. But I wasn't doing it wrong, the threads and the metal ring on the stand that should attach to the lamp dome/shade is defective. It will not go together. Returned the lamp, still really love the design and would order again if they get the defects worked out.

This is a nice heavy, sturdy floor lamp. I like the design and that you can move the shade. The one draw back was that there is only a foot pedal to turn it on, so it you are seated already, you have to reach around. Also, it would be better if the foot pedal was closer to the lamp's base-I put it next to my couch and it would have ended up behind the couch if I didn't wrap the cord a bit.

The box the actual lamp came in (not the shipping box) was half destroyed. The lamp itself was in decent condition. Only returning it because the poles won’t screw together due to a manufacturer defect it seems like. The pieces that screw together are completely crooked.

Let me first say is that is lamp is beautiful if it had been manufactured the way it was intended. The paint spray job was patchy and the person assembling the lamp put the wrong connecting tube on the pole so you could not attach the lamp the the support pole. Had to return it and purchased a different brand of lamp.

I nearly did not order this because the reviews were so poor. It looked nice in photos and I decided if it was poorly made, I could return it. I’m glad I did because I like it much more than I anticipated. It’s nice and heavy. It assembled perfectly in under 5 minutes. It looks lovely in our space. I swapped out the included bulb (which was brighter than I like) for a gold dipped Edison globe bulb and it makes the light perfectly soft and warm, not too bright on my page when I’m reading (and also looks great with the gold body and shade). I do not need another floor lamp in my home at the moment, but if I did I would likely order another. I would recommend this floor lamp to a friend. It exceeded my expectations and was much more affordable to comparable styles I was looking at on Pottery Barn and West Elm.

Like other reviews, this product is manufactured defectively. Apparently nobody paid attention to the defective products and took them off the market. The tubes do not fit together. The fittings are crooked. I spent over an hour and a half trying to get Target to give me a return to pick this damaged item up. I would not recommend buying this lamp at all. The base alone weighs 11.6 lb. Is that really necessary? I've tried four times in this review will not allow me to upload a photo.
