Bottom fell out. Got it, loved it. Has been sitting on my desk with pens in it (meaning I don’t move it); and today, I saw the entire bottom glass piece broke and fell out in pieces. …? Please remake with a sturdy bottom. Thank you. (And if you own this, keep a couple DRIED flowers in it. Anything more will break the bottom out).

I like this vase and plan to only use it for artificial or dried plants/flowers since other reviews stated that water can damage the leather, potentially stretching it out and that it was difficult to remove and put back on. I’d rather not experiment and find out how the leather holds out. For my purposes that don’t involve water, 5 stars. Can’t speak to other uses.

If you use this for fresh flowers, the leather stretches out when it’s removed for washing. Then it just sits around the glass loosely and becomes a hazard if anyone tries to move it. It’s now in pieces in my trash can because someone tried to move it last night and barely missed it falling on their foot as they didn’t know they couldn’t just grip the leather outside.

This is a great looking vase. My only gripe is that the leather does not fit. It is so big that it simply falls to the bottom instead of staying suspended as it appears in the picture. Still good looking just a little disappointing.

I love the juxtaposition of white roses in this "rugged" vase. Be careful not to splash on the leather when adding water, or when pouring water from vase. Happy that the leather is about an inch down from the top of the vase so pouring water out isn't an issue. I hold a thick hand towel under the pour spot to ensure the leather does not get wet. Perhaps you can remove the leather on yours, but mine is quite tight and I don't want to risk stretching it.

I bought this vase for my son’s new home because I thought the leather gave the vase the perfect masculine touch. He added live eucalyptus and it looks fantastic. After seeing how good it looked in his house, I bought one for myself. I have a neutral, modern farmhouse style and it looks just as good in my home with the addition of fresh white hydrangeas. Stylish little addition at a great price.

This is the second Studio McGee product that Ive purchased with quality control issues. I don’t believe that these cracks in the glass portion of the vase are due to shipping but probably the manufacturing process. Disappointed!

The bottom is not level and it wobbles! Will try to add video! Sits lopsided because of that! Looks much nicer online. “Leather” has a cheap plastic look in person. Was so hoping to love but have to give it two thumbs down! Quality stinks. Also bought the mirror (love the style!) which came damaged! Both will sadly be returned.
