Great fixture for home decor, and made very well. It’s heavy brass, but it can be moved around easily. I’ve been on a quest for Horse-themed merch since 2026 is the year of The Horse, and I’m glad I found this one to add to my collection. Legend has it that The Year of the Horse Only comes around Once every 60 Years, so this is a Once in a Lifetime for Me!

I have purchased many items from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, and was always impressed with the quality. I feel cheated with this item. It is described as a brass horse in several places, but it is actually another type of metal with a not-so-great paint job trying to imitate brass. The smaller horse in my photo below is real brass. The larger one is obviously not. Target--you need to fix this.

Thank goodness in Chicagoland with multiple locations
I had to go to four different locations for this must have. Inventory on app is often wrong and not enough staff to find item. This horse is beautiful and has weight to it. Glad they are adding decor objects to collection.

The detail on this horse is incredible. The golden color is a perfect blend of antique and new gold. The horse is heavy and looks very expensive too. The first horse I received was broken due to shipping. Target quickly and easily replaced it via the app. If you are a horse lover❤️ I say buy it !!
