37pc One-Step Tie-Dye Kit Rainbow - Tulip

I purchased this same dye last year and it worked great. The shirts turned out amazing. This year we purchased the same dye because it was previously so successful. However, when attempting to dye the shirts the dye would not soak in and absorb. It just beaded up and rolled off. We washed as instructed and used shirts from 3 different stores, all of which had the same results. The shirts weren’t nearly as awesome as last year. Disappointed.

Could be better. Shouldn’t say “no soda ash needed” because it certainly isn’t vibrant. Still fun but colors could be brighter. And I agree with another person saying the bottles are leaky. The kids enjoyed themselves and that’s all that I really care about

Great easy kit. Make sure to get extra elastics of doing multiple projects

4 & 5yo had so much fun! The bottles did leak a bit when shaking up so make sure you hold it over the sink and wear gloves when doing that. The colors came out vibrant and had plenty left after we made 10 small kids shirts.

My kids had a blast! I let the shirts sit in bags for 24 hrs and had no issues with the colors fading drastically. The shirts looked so good, our friends thought we bought them!

This is a great one step kids that saves time and mess when doing a project with your kids. Great for the weekends.

Good kit. The bottles leaked a bit so shake carefully. I went online to find some tutorials and I think the heart-shaped is my favorite! But ours didn’t show up well. I accidentally used non-cotton shirts for myself and the dye did not absorb as well. Oops.

It came with two bottles of powder spilt. Was a mess to clean up and made it so we had fewer projects we could do. Also the colors that were spilt were some of my kids favorite colors so they were very disappointed.

This kit was ultimately great. It didn’t get close to completing the 18 projects that the box claimed it would. We dyed five 24m onesies and five size small youth shirts. We didn’t have a drop of dye left over. The dye bottles are pretty flimsy, and leaked a bit while both while mixing the powder and water and while applying color. Definitely hold a paper towel around the bottle while shaking, to avoid dye splatters. I almost didn’t buy this kit because of the one negative review about the colors washing out. I’m 99.9% sure that person didn’t use 100% cotton and probably used a high blend of a fabric that doesn’t take the dyes. The onesies were 100 % cotton and have held their color well after the first wash. The small shirts were a 50% polyester 50% cotton blend and though they looked vibrant after the first initial rinse, after the wash they faded a bit. The fading was 100% my fault for not buying 100% cotton shirts. I did soak everything in a soda ash bath for about an hour before applying colors. The directions came with great pictures of project examples and step by step directions on how to complete each look. Ultimately this is a great kit for a random day of tie dying a few projects. I will definitely purchase another kit when the tie dying urge strikes again.

Great project for children. Mess free easy to use.

The colors were very bright and my girls and I had a lot of fun making our 4th of July shirts! I do want to mention that both the red and blue colors went thru the gloves that were enclosed in this box. My oldest, for whatever reason, had decided to wear different gloves and her hands were completely fine. Would definitely purchase again, worth the money!

Kit had everything we needed to do 5 XL men’s size shirts with dye left over. Colors came out vivid and gorgeous. Would definitely use again.

I had reservations about buying this only because I wasn't sure I would actually get good results (because of me, not the product). I am THRILLED that it could not have been easier and they came out beautifully despite me never having tried tie dye before. A wonderful starting set that I will be buying again.

Easy to use and amazing results! We used cotton onesies and burp rags. Left in bags for 72 hours before washing out with cold water. Then washed with detergent and dawn. Can’t wait to do this again!

Very easy to use and love the color varieties.

Colors rinsed out. My daughter and I decided to tie dye socks as a gift to her soccer teammates. We followed the instructions and I let the socks sit for 24 hours. I rinsed the excess dye out and washed in the washer. I was left with off white socks. The only color that stuck was turquoise (what was the navy blue color in the packet).

My daughter has been wanting to tie dye so I decided I'd purchase that and I'm so glad I did. It comes with gloves, which is super helpful!

I have been obsessed with tie dye lately and wanted to do some on my own. I found this kit and was excited to try it out. I did 6 pairs of nike socks, 3 t-shirts, and a hat. It was definitely more than I expected and the colors are so vibrant

This was such a fun quarantine activity! Getting 18 projects is definitely a stretch -- we colored about 5 adult shirts and were running low on a couple colors. I guess if everyone wanted to use different colors we could still get quite a few more projects out of this. But for $10 it was a great time! We haven't washed them yet so I can't speak to how well the colors stick, but out of their bands they are very vibrant! (Note that the blue and white shirt in the top right corner was not made with this tie dye set)

We really enjoyed this product. We made 3 shirts and 2 pairs of shoes. I do think that suggesting it makes up to 18 projects is a little much, but we had more than enough for our little projects. It was a bit messy, but I think that’s expected when tie dying. Will definitely buy this again in the future.
