Very pretty and durable, i think most of the reviews complaining about the way it opens are user error the roll comes with a pull tab that allows for it to take off the name/bar code sticker and opens the roll without excessive mess or tear. I managed to wrap 5 gifts with this paper wish it had a bit more but overall very nice.

You can’t open it! Someone glued the paper together! I wasted so much paper. I want my money back this was so bad.

I was so excited to use this wrapping paper for my daughter’s birthday, but I couldn’t even get it off the roll. It was literally stuck and I was only able to rip it off in shreds. Horrible!

It’s impossible to open without ruining a lot of paper. Agree with all the other reviews.

Beautiful paper! You have to pull the paper tab on the bottom straight up to open and use the roll.

Packaging is terrible. The paper is glued onto itself and you can't open it. There is a tab that you're supposed to pull for a "clean open" but mine just broke off instead of ripping the paper. One you finally get it open, you have to cut a bunch more off to get a clean edge. I was able to wrap an Our Generation doll with very little left. If it was $1, sure, but for almost $5 just spend an extra quarter to get something worth it.

This wrapping paper is IMPOSSIBLE to open. The whole end is GLUED down. You loose a significant amount in order to get it open. Never buying this brand of wrap again.

Is the packaging great? No. But I don’t think people realize you’re supposed to pull the loop in the middle of the tube for a clean tear through the glue and sticker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So confused by the negative reviews. It is true this paper does not come in the standard plastic wrapped sleeve. HOWEVER there is a tab that you pull to unseal it. I don’t know what all the negative reviewers were doing by tearing into it like a bobcat

this wrapping paper is sealed along the edge and closed up with a sticker, it's VERY hard to open and too much wrapping paper is destroyed/torn in the process of opening. Go back to the plastic wrap!

Had to throw away half of this wrapping paper due to it being super glued together instead of just using the normal plastic wrap covering. It is is cute but super thin and have fun opening it.

Adorable print but the packaging is a nightmare. Won’t repurchase unless they redo the packaging.

Very cute print, and a thicker heavier quality paper, but you need a PhD in engineering to get it open. They’re now gluing the paper instead of wrapping it in plastic wrap. There’s a paper strip you are supposed to pull to rip it open which did not work at all. I spent 20 min ripping tiny buts of the glue off since the roll is wrapped too tightly to make one cut down with scissors. I’m all for cutting down on plastics but there has got to be a better way. A couple pieces of tape maybe??

Trying to get the paper open was absolutely ridiculous… whoever thought gluing the paper together and having to rip it to shreds to be able to use it was clearly an idiot. Why can’t this just have a clear plastic covering to make it easier?? I wasted a lot of the paper because it shredded upon opening. Absolute trash
