It holds a lot more than I expected and has been great for cookies and candy in our house. The wood top gives it a nice look and makes it seem more expensive than it is. The lid fits nice and tight, which helps keep things fresh. It looks good sitting on the counter too instead of having to hide it in a cabinet. Overall, a really solid container for the price and very practical.

We use it to keep my daughter (and wife’s) hair clutter in to try and contain it all and it’s perfect. There’s an excellent lid on it and with it being glass you can see exactly what’s in it. This is great for use anywhere in your home whether in kitchen or another room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 96 oz canister by Threshold. It is a thick sturdy glass canister with a really nice dark wood lid. The lid is fairly thick with a rubber rim that seals really good so it’s great for any type of food storage it is also has a beautifully polished finish. The glass is perfectly clear so you can easily see what is inside the container. I had snacks in this for the kids which is great but I’ve since decided it works really well for rice so I will be using it for the rice or my bread flour.

I was planning on using this to store flour or sugar but didn’t feel like the lid fit securely enough to keep food fresh. I ended up trying a battery powered candle and some wrapped candy. It worked great for both.

I think it fits in well with the other things that I currently have in my laundry room. It will be easy to clean. I like the dark wood lid. I found this to be a great price. Love how it’s clear on the bottom, so I am able to see the items I put in the jar. It comes with a wooden lid too, which will give you the option to keep food items in there, if you choose to and it will keep it fresh since it has a secured lid.
