It was easy enough to figure out, each hand is a button that plays a song/game. The arms move and the wheels under his feet make him look like he is really sliding. She loves playing with this and has even tried to take it to bed with her. Another added feature that i think is worth mentioning, It can switch to Spanish with the flick of a switch. I appreciate the inclusion that it provides.

It is of a decent size and recommended for ages two and over. It is interactive and cute. My little girl was thrilled and mesmerized for hours. She enjoys dragging it around with her everywhere. He loves doing the Elmo slide and I love that Elmo can help him and his dad pick up on a little Spanish. This Elmo Slide plush uses 4 AA batteries that are included, is light weight, 14.5" length, speaks English and Spanish, dances, and plays games. It works well on flat hard surfaces. I even have to set a placement and a chair for the Elmo for our family meal times. Sleeps and even wanted her Elmo to go in the bath with her.. She has endless hours playing and singing with Elmo. To me, it’s a wonderful and fun toy that he can sing with, play games with,and dance with. You squeeze his hand and he will actually swing his arms and move. My son laughs and smiles every time. It does take batteries and is big enough for him to hug tight and carry around. The price is very reasonable for this type of toy. It has also pretty sturdy because it’s held up with my son dragging it and dropping it when he puts his Elmo in the swing.
