Q: Does this disinfectant kill germs for COVID-19? If so, is this registered on the EPA list of approved disinfectants used against COVID-19?
A: I called the number and the representative said it is effective against SARS Cov2 on hard surfaces but it does not say whether that is sufficient against COVID19
submitted byHickory - 5 years agoA: I could not find an EPA registration number for this anywhere, and therefore cannot cross reference with the EPA list that details which cleaners break down COVID-19. I would err on the side of no until an EPA number is provided and can be referenced on that list.
submitted byJane - 5 years agoA: No it will not kill COVID-19. If it did, the manufacturer would have clearly said so in their prior response, rather than telling you to call and have a private conversation offline.
submitted byAnonymous - 5 years agoA: It contains citric acid, which is considered a disinfectant on the EPA list. It's not on the EPA list itself, but it is on the "New York State Registered Disinfectants Based on EPA List" (on the NY gov't website). I assume the percentage of citric acid is the question. The lowest percentage I saw on the EPA website was 6%, and this contains 5%.

Q: Is this cleaner ok to use on bath tile? Will it damage the grout? Thanks

Q: How do you recommend using this product? spray & wipe? spray & wait? wipe or don't wipe? damp cloth or paper towel? I see no instructions on bottle or in description. What have I missed? Thank you:-)
A: great question! for general cleaning you can simply spray + wipe right away. to disinfect, spray until thoroughly wet, let sit for 10 minutes + wipe. for sanitizing non-porous surfaces, spray until wet + wipe after 5 minutes. feel free to use whatever rag, cloth or paper toweling you use in your cleaning routine.

Q: What ingredient makes this Method Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner a disinfectant? What is the difference in this Method Bathroom product as compared to the regular Method cleaners which ingredients are all natural?
