Seems sturdy yet still comfortable. Easy to assemble. It is a big chair, much like a front-porch rocker, and sits a little high—making it easy to get in and out of. Like the color and style.

love the lines and wood. seat is too deep, overall the chair is too large for me. that is my error.

I was really looking forward to this chair. The price was affordable. It's a little to big for the room was going to place it in but need less to say I didn't get a chance too. A couple of pieces on the chair was falling apart as I tried to put together. I don't know if I was me or how it was shipped but I was disappointed. Target let me return for full price.

I was hesitant to buy this chair because of the other reviews but thankfully it all worked out. There were no defective parts and it was easy to assemble. It's big though! It almost takes up as much space as my daughter's crib. The wood isn't the greatest quality but nonetheless it has a greatlook and does what it's supposed to do- it rocks. Im 5'7 and my toes touch the floor more than enough to get a good rocking going. Also, i can nurse my baby comfortably with the help of a bobby pillow. The wood is less red than pictured. The only thing is that the wood that's at your back cracks/creaks a bit (not all the time) but that's my only complain/con.

I received the chair well packaged. It was in perfect condition except for a small piece that had come apart at the end of one of the legs. It was easily fixed with a little wood glue and it's not noticeable now. The assembly instructions could have been written better, but I've seen worse. Assembly was fairly easy and took about 30 minutes for my teen son and I. So I would have rated the chair with 3 or 4 stars up to that point. Once assembled, it is gorgeous! And now that we've all sat in it over a few days, I couldn't be happier. It is indeed a very large chair. I love the unique size and design of it. Works great in my eclectic living room because it's not a traditional rocker. We're using a standard cube ottoman with it, and that's the perfect height for putting your feet up. The chair itself is comfortable and rocks smoothly. My 8-yr-old daughter loves it, as do my teen boys who are about 5'11" and can sit in it comfortably with room to spare.

Purchased for our nursery and it rocks great on carpet! I searched for a reasonably priced chair that would be tall enough for myself and husband. This chair is very deep and wouldn't work well in small spaces. I am considering making a cushion for the back of the chair - other than that, its great! Oh and the color is not cherry which I prefer.

I ordered this chair and it came in defective. I see another review mentioned the same problem. The left arm was not properly made, and there is a 1/2 inch gap in the wood, leaving a rough edge and looks like it will fall apart. Target is in the process of replacing it, and I hope the second one will not be the same.

Chair is very large and takes up a lot of space which can be a pro or con. I'm 5'3'' and my feet barely touch the floor (only the tips of my toes). I would need a footrest to be comfortable nursing. The color is much darker in person and does not have a cherry (reddish) hue as suggested in the pictures. The only true con is the craftsmanship. The side A portion of the arm rest was defective and there is a half inch gap where the wood should have fit flush together to create a seamless left arm rest.

Awesome chair but it is HUGE!!! A friend that is over 6' tall sat in it, scooted all the way back and his feet barely touched the ground. Other than that, the chair is fabulous.

Easy to assemble, looks great and quality product. It is very big though and may not fit in smaller rooms.
