A: This is what is considered 100% acetone. The Denatonium Benzoate is added because we unfortunately live in a world where it's not enough to put "do not drink" on a bottle of acetone. The DB is added to make it unpalatable so someone won't drink it and poison themselves (acetone by itself has no taste). It's added for a similar reason to adding an odorant to natural gas.

The nail polish remover itself is fine - it does what it's supposed to do. But the bottle leaks if it's not kept upright. I made the mistake of storing mine in my mani/pedi "toolbox" and it leaked even though the lid was on tight.

I’ve been buying this forever but the last time I purchased and used the polish would not budge after soaking my nails for twenty minutes. I’m wondering if they got their Acetone and NonAcetone removers mixed up!

Maybe I got a bad bottle as when I went to remove OPI polish that I’ve used for many many years it simply would not remove. I had to work and work and work on each finger - took forever to remove it. I’ve never had that problem before with using acetone polish remover. Plus this polish remover had almost no odor. Usually acetone polish remover has a very strong smell. So maybe there is something wrong with this bottle or with a whole lot of bottles that my local target store acquired recently. (Or maybe the OPI polish that I was removing has something wrong with it as this was the first time I have used this particular bottle and shade of red polish as ordinarily OPI polish is easy to remove.
