This product replaces the old version that Target used to sell. The older version could be washed without issue. This new version cannot handle being washed without massively warping. If you wash this, then be sure to use water that isn't very hot. Overall, this is a lower quality version compared to the old one. The plastic isn't quite the same and you can tell fairly quickly that it isn't as good... I took the risk with this one, which was a mistake.

This organizer for my silverware is well designed. It includes enough sections to divide up 5 piece place settings as well as serving spoons in another section. It uses the space well with no wasted space between sections. And it seems sturdy & easy to clean. A previous purchase had wire mesh which collected bits of sawdust from the drawer & was hard to clean.
