submitted byIda - 6 months agoA: I'm in my 40's with oily skin & have used gritty face scrubs almost every day since I was 15. So far, this my absolute favorite, but it's a deep green that smells like the ocean & oak moss, which may not be everyone's idea of a good time! It's definitely worth a try & especially good to use in the shower so it's not messy. If your skin isn't up to scrubs, you'd be fine using it just once or twice a week.

submitted byjo - 7 years agoA: I use it every other day in the shower. The first time, I used a lot and my face hurt a little afterwards so I started using less and it didn't hurt again. I would suggest starting off using it twice a week at first and then every other day after that. And only a little bit is needed! I like to use it in the shower because it is easier to rinse off my face. I am on like my 3rd tube of this. It is awesome!

Q: Is this good for acne prone skin? Which products are? I have really horrible acne on my chin and forehead and I was looking for something to help clear it up (along with other products I use)

glad to see others agree that the formula has changed. i used this product for years and it was always my go to face scrub. repurchased it last month after not using it for awhile and noticed it’s a lot more abrasive now so it’s not as gentle of a scrub as it used to be. i’ve noticed i’ve had to be very delicate while applying it to my face. have walnut shells always been in this product?? other than that still a great scrub

I have used this product for over 10 years. But you had to go and change the ingredients. Well now if I use it, it sets my face on fire. Why? Why would you change a formula that works to unusable product? I certainly won't be able to use this product and have to look for another exfoliator. Shame on you Acure.
