Q: How big of a bag for TPN or a Feeding tube will this hold
submitted by Megan - 11 months ago
A: Hello Megan, The internal pocket for the bladder measures 11.5" x 11.5" and the opening for the feeding tube at top of backpack is 2.625”. We hope this helps with your consideration.
I like that this pack hangs on my wheelchair without having the straps over the back. I really wanted to like this pack, but the quality is not good. I used as a regular back strap bag for about a week and the straps started to come apart the seam tore and the fabric over the strap padding is coming off both straps.

The loop to hang the backpack became severed. We have no idea why or what happened.

Have used on travel stroller, powerchair, and many other modes of transportation. Adjusts to each and has handy shoulder and single hanging straps when chair not in use. Only wish came in larger size to accomidate for more medical supplies and larger electronic devices.

I am so happy that target is increasing its offerings for adaptive items in its collection. I have always looked for its wheelchair-accessible costumes and love their quality. When we got this backpack we loved it. Makes hanging his bag off the wheelchair so much easier and having regular straps for when using it ourselves is perfect. However, the material used is not made for wheelchair used. Its thin and the occasional wheel scrape that it gets has resulted in a ripped backpack less than 2 months into use. Or the seams are not reinforced. For context he carries his iPad, folder, and snack to school everyday. His lunchbag hangs from the top loop strap I love this backpack. Everything is perfect except for the materials chosen for its construction. I was hesitant to write this review because as another customer stated, its hard to leave a bad one when as a parent we are so excited about the inclusion of our children in a product line.

Love the product, works great with my sons wheelchair. Haven’t used it for his feeding tube yet, but love that it has openings in case we decide to. Seems well made, not cheap. And affordable! Website does not do a great job showing all features, but there are different ways to hang the bag from a chair, there is a laptop compartment inside, and it opens nice and wide. Very happy with this product.

Love, love, love! My son finally has a backpack that actually looks like a kid’s backpack! His chair is small, so it won’t fit with bottles in the side, but fits great without. So functional and roomy, and without paying an arm and a leg. I’m going to go buy another one or two for backup for the next few years! Thank you, Target!!! ❤️

Perfect size for my everyday stuff, lot of pockets and compartments. Easy to put in and take off my wheelchair with my one arm. Súper fun design and fairly good quality for the price. I love the pattern. I’m an adult but life can be fun despite our circumstances, that’s why I chose the kids fun line!
I bought this backpack for my space-loving daughter. I ordered it online, and it looked like a great gender neutral choice. Unfortunately she doesn't love it in person. It's more navy blue than bluish purple like we thought. It's still very well made, and spacious. But we ended up choosing another bag and will use this one as a backup in case the other gets dirty.
Kids' Adaptive 17" Backpack Navy Space - Cat & Jack™ is really nice. This backpack is super cute and features colorful planets all over it and a adorable planet keychain. Not only is this backpack cute but it is inclusive too! This backpack was designed to fit more comfortably on a wheelchair and be easily accessible from wheelchair which is really great. Not only that but this backpack is spacious with lots of room for whatever my child might need that day and is easy to zip up. With all the pockets it features it’s easy to keep things organized! I would recommend!

I really, really wanted to love this backpack. I was so happy to see it and have appreciated Target having more adapted and inclusive items at a reasonable price. I almost didn't write this review because I don't want to derail the efforts, but real inclusion needs to actually meet the needs of the community you intend to serve. This backpack is well made, the straps are nice, and there's a lot of space inside, but unfortunately that's it. If you have a child with a feeding tube/pump this will not work without making your own adjustments which defeats the purpose of purchasing an adaptive backpack. It was clearly not designed by someone familiar with feeding tubes/pumps, but rather someone was told to put in a strap and some holes. The strap doesn't work well for an infinity pump bag for sure and if you run the tubing through any of the holes, you will have several pinch points, likely causing it to alarm and your child not to get their food. We returned it and will just have to come up with a different solution. Like I said, I really wanted to like this backpack. I hope Target will consider a redesign and consult people who use feeding tubes/pumps.
This backpack is beautiful and has beautiful designs on it. It's made from great quality material to last throughout the school year. Color is very nice and pockets even better. Will definitely purchase in the future and highly recommend.

this replaces the well worn boring black bag that came with my son's chair. I could totally put his joey pump in there too, as it has access ports, but I prefer logistically to have a separate smaller bag. it is much roomier and kid-like than his prior bag. happy.
My son loves this backpack! He can’t wait (well once summer vacation is over) to use it for next school year! The Saturn key chain is adorable too. Nice comfy straps and looks durable! He’s obsessed with space.
