This Inflatable Flamingo Halloween Costume from Hyde & EEK! Boutique™ makes it easy for you to have a unique take on your spooky-season festivities. It has a two-tone pink design for an authentic look, along with a beak, eyes, black reins and faux-leg accents that make it look like you're actually riding a giant flamingo. Your legs act as the flamingo's, sliding easy into the inflatable fabric so you can try your best to channel your inner wading bird. You'll be sure to steal the show at a festive party or trick-or-treating with the fam when you put on this inflatable flamingo rider costume.
Fan is not powerful enough to keep the neck inflated and upright. The fan placement is in the rear and the blower also faces the rear. Bad design since more inflation is needed in the front of the costume. If you want to look silly in a limp flamingo then purchase this. Otherwise You will be disappointed just like our daughter was.
It's a pretty funny costume and was relatively inexpensive compared to others. Looks good on. No problem with the fan working and the costume inflating. I think a bigger person would wear it better. I bought it for my 12 yr old son, who is much too small for it. It looked good, but his legs were too short to really walk around in it comfortably. We also had trouble with the waist cinch loosening up, which lets the air out. You'd have to pin it or knot it maybe. I tried it, too, and it fit me a little better. I am only about 5'3. I could walk more easily than my son, but definitely not comfortably enough to wear for an extended period of time, like out trick or treating or to a party. I'm sure it would be better on a taller person. It's also quite big around when inflated, so keep that in mind. Might be tough maneuvering in a crowded space. We kept it, knowing he'll grow into it. I'm not getting any taller, but maybe my hubby can wear it, lol. It definitely is one size would fit a lot of people. The novelty was worth the sale price.
This item worked well. My 10 year old chose and wore it. it was long and the crotch was close to her knees (but its an adult size so we knew it would be). She got lots of laughs and compliments and enjoyed the inflatable flamingo!
The first time I turned it on it did flow up. Not sure why there wasn’t enough air flow and the head portion of the flamingo was not inflating.
After 30mins-45mins the head no longer would inflate. I had to hold the head up, it was such a disaster.
I had to stop and remove my costume in the middle of the road, as I took my kids out trick or treating. Very disappointed.
We purchased three of these items all of them the blower were in different directions causing them to not totally inflate. What a poor decision in manufacturing. Also where the blower is located it is in a sport that does not allow the air to get the the top part of the flamino.
I looked everywhere to see if this would work for plus size. Let me tell you. It does...ish. I could get it on and it would inflate, but the fan would only keep it inflated if I held the fan at a certain angle. It’s not as much fun if you have to hold it or have a floppy flamingo head.
