African Pride Hair Moisture Miracle Aloe and Coconut Water Hydrate and Hold Curl Defining Gel - 18 fl oz

This feels greasy on my hair. And after it dries it gets flakey. I regret trying this out.

Retains my daughters curls like no other. She is 20 months and does not stay still for long. I was able to refresh her 2 day hair with a bit of water and this gel and it looks like it was wash day! Does not leave hair sticky or blah feeling. Her hair is as soft as ever.

I have 4c hair and this does not hydrate my hair. Have very little hold.

I fell in love! It left my hair soft and kept my curls all day and plus light weight! It didn’t leave a sticky white residue like a lot of products.

First off let me say during my natural hair journey I've found that my hair doesn't like gels as they aren't moisturizing enough. For reference I have Black 3c/4a texture. I've mostly used Uncle Funkys for the moisturing benefit but the hold just isnt there as my hair grows. On a whim I decided to try something new and less expensive that the Uncle. THIS GEL IS AMAZING!! It defined my curls on contact! It feels so hydrating going on! Slight crunch as it dried but not stiff and hard like most gels leave your hair. For the moisturing benefit and the hold it comes with the price point on this is great!!!

This gel kept the curls in place without weighing her hair down or drying it out. I have tried many products to keep her curls defined and soft and this has helped tremendously.

I don't have to worry about any flakes once used. Smells really good and it's not to sticky either. My kids enjoy using it for their hair and I do too. I've used it on different types of hair which worked well.

When dealing with curly hair you're told to coat each clump of hair, but with this gel, if you're too heavy handed then it leaves a stiff mucky feel to your hair one dry. I've found this gel works best after I've applied a heavy moisturizing cream, and then very lightly apply this for scrunching/styling. It creates a decent hold. Otherwise, I like it, and it smells nice, too.

This product looked great when we initially applied it but after about 2 hours of being out and about, her hair was super dry, it had zero shine and very light flaking. The flaking was not too bad, my main concern was the product did not hold nor moisturize her hair for an extending amount of time. The pros: no alcohol, great smell, not aggressive, great consistency, not sticky. I am going to try this on my nephews hair, he has a 3c texture, hopefully we have more successful results but this is not for super textured or tightly coiled hair.

I washed my daughter's hair and then added a little bit of this gel and combed it through. My daughter's hair was very defined and did not have any frizz. Her curls lasted about 3 days before it started to frizz.

But this one is so lightweight and almost none existent once it dries. I love it. I apply it on wet or damp hair and curl my hair naturally or if I want a ponytail but want to tame my baby hair. I love it. Scent is not strong and most importantly doesn't turn white when you touch your hair.

This product definitely held its name. I have unreleased 4c hair and This product is very good at giving a cleaner curl pattern. It also has a nice smell to it. I do recommend this product and will get more.
