Q: can I put the pizza on the pan without heating the pan first and then put the pan with the pizza on it in the hot oven? ( because it’s hard to build the pizza and then transfer to the hot pan, the pizza will broke while transferring it to the pan! So???

A:Â No need to pre-heat the pan, just pre-heat the oven. The pan works best at room temperature. Be sure to brush it with olive oil before putting the dough on it.

A:Â Using a pizza cutter on a metal surface will dull the cutting blade. Slide onto a cutting board to use the pizza cutter or slide onto a large round platter to use large kitchen sheers to cut it.

A:Â We never cut the pizza on the pan. We always slide the pizza onto a cutting board and cut it there. In general, we try to avoid using anything metal on non-stick cookware.

I can’t speak to the performance of the pan, so just gave it 3 stars. Seemed perfect for what I wanted it for but I failed to realize it’s oven safe to only 400 degrees until I had it home. So if you’re like me and cook all your pizzas at 425, don’t make the same mistake I did and buy a different pan.

Got this to use when baking frozen pizza at home. I hate putting pizza on oven rack directly in case pizza sticks or drips sauce/cheese. This pan is perfect in that it has tiny holes so it can let heat to circulate and reach the bottom of the pizza dough. I had no issues of pan sticking to the pizza. Slid right off! Good size pan too! Got it on sale, which was icing on the cake!!

Pizza is perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp on the crust for me. It is also very large, and I found I had a hard time finding a place in my cupboards for it. Still worth it as my pizza comes out great and slides off. I opted for the nonstick version, which unfortunately means you can't cut your pizza on it without risking damaging the nonstick finish. Cleaning this thing is a breeze as well. Can't recommend this pan enough.

I have 2 of these pans and I use them every time I make pizza (I make pizza 2-3 times a month). I find these pans are the best for cooking pizza dough. Better than a stone, in my opinion. I would highly recommend these pans as I have been using them for many, many years!!
