Alba Botanica Very Emollient Coconut Rescue Body Lotion - 32oz

Overall love this brand and this product! The coconut smells great and keeps skin moisturized. I have super sensitive skin and it works really well for me!

I usually love Alba but this lotion is not good. It leaves a film on your skin, and it pills up if you rub it in for too long. I’ve never seen this happen with a lotion before. Also minor but still a con, the smell was off putting. It does NOT smell like coconuts.

this lotion is smooth and creamy and spreads and absorbs well, especially when used on damp skin. the fragrance is mild and is not from vague, mysterious synthetic ingredients. it's not exactly a coconut scent; to me it's more like faint cocoa butter smell. it moisturizes my dry, itchy skin in the winter just enough without being heavy or greasy, and my skin is soft and smooth. it might also be light enough for warmer months; seems like a good versatile lotion. however, it does leave a peculiar texture on the skin, like a waxy film. it doesn't feel thick on the skin or irritating, but i have sensory sensitivities so i dislike that feeling. if it didn't leave that sensation on the skin, i'd repurchase because it's a good lotion and i think it could be suitable for those with fragrance aversions/sensitivities. don't be alarmed about the cetyl alcohol high on the ingredient list; not all alcohols are the same, therefore not all of them are drying. cetyl alcohol is in a group of alcohols that are actually moisturizing fats; i encourage you to research more on alcohols that are good for your skin so you can be more informed.

I like that it has safe ingredients. I dislike that is isnt thick enough for winter. This is a good lotion for people with sensitivities or allergies.

this lotion is great on my skin I'm very sensitive. however the bottle was completely broke when it arrived, The box was fine. the bottle was wrapped in plastic and the pump cap Completely shattered. luckily I had an old pump from an older bottle.

Living in a dry climate, I have tried a lot of lotions. I really like the sent and it’s a good secondary lotion but I require more later. Still love it!

The only thing I don’t like about it is it has some sort of glitter in it.

I love the big bottle and the thickness of the lotion. It is not greasy. I was hoping for a stronger coconut smell, a little bit more tropical. the smell isn't great.

I didn't like the scent at all, but it was the texture that made me really not a fan. My hands felt weird after using it- It just felt like a cheap lotion would, without the cheap price.

Great lotion, but once you get toward the bottom the lotion will not distribute through the pump. You have to take the top off and shake it into your hand or add water to the lotion to thin it out. It not Target’s fault. The Alba lotions are just odd like that.

I don’t think my body has ever felt so hydrated. Semi thick, not too fragrant, and dries quickly and non greasy. Honestly, do yourself a favor and get it

The lotion is decent - not my favorite scent or texture, but good enough. Unfortunately, the pump doesn’t work. This was my first time trying Alba and I won’t be buying again.

I love Alba lotions and this scent is my favorite. Keeps my skin well hydrated and itchy free. It is a thick lotion but absorbs quickly. Only problem is when you get to the end off bottle it won't pump up since it is so thick. Really helps my dry skin.

My skin is always so dry. This lotion is a nice weight, but not so thick you can't use the pump. I don't mind the scent, but for those who like the lotion except for the scent, just add a scent you like. It's not an overwhelming scent to begin with, so it would be easy to add your own.

I always buy coconut scented natural body lotions, and this is the first one I’ve tried that I’ve absolutely hated! It has a very chemical, baby wipe-type smell (I get zero coconut), and the lotion itself is too lightweight for my taste — my skin still feels dry after applying.

It’s a bit thick, which some people may or may not like for body lotion. The scent is also okay. But if you don’t care about the texture and you aren’t really interested in any particular scent, you just want a lot of lotion then it’s fine.

The scent is not great. It is a very artificial smell and in my opinion not very coconuty. Also pretty thick and not the easiest to rub in. However, if you can get past those things, it does a good job moisturizing.
